Welcome …..To Bassenthwaite Youth Squad

A new youth section has been set up for the club

Any persons under the age of 19 are allowed to take part in this new section.

It includes training sessions, races and separate entertainment. We run some races specifically for the junior members of the club which are held on some Saturdays at 1pm (whilst there are Taster Sessions on at the club) and on some Sunday afternoons at about 2pm at the north end of the lake (whilst the more confident, older sailors are participating in Round-the-Lake races). 

The section is being led by Emma Smith (blondieemma@btinternet.com) who is picking up from where Rhonwen Bryce left off

There are also three youth representatives Georgina Craig, Joe Watkins and Robin Crawley. As many others who are helping.
